Jack Boyce was trained in the family business of exploration from day one. After his father, Richard Boyce, left Hunt Oil in 1996 to found his own consulting firm, Jack became employee number one, learning to contour maps, interpret seismic, do economics and assemble and market deals all from an early age.

That hands-on foundation shaped a geoscientist with both deep technical fluency and savvy commercial instincts.

Jack has worked across nearly every major U.S. basin; The Permian, Haynesville, Bakken, Marcellus, East Texas, South Texas, the Mid-Continent, and the Gulf of Mexico, as well as international frontiers from Guyana and Nigeria to Turkey, Oman, Argentina, and the Falklands.

He has also tackled heavy oil projects in California and Canada as well as Lithium Brine projects in Texas and Arkansas. His experience spans conventional and unconventional plays, deepwater and onshore, mature fields and frontier basins.

While Jack is an exceptional geologist, his real talent lies in storytelling - bringing complex geologic systems to life in a way that helps investors and partners see the potential. His presentations have played a key role in driving multiple successful transactions throughout his career.

Jack is fluent in a wide range of geological and geophysical software platforms, including Petra, Petrel, SMT Kingdom, and Subsurface AI.
