Port au Port Peninsula, Western Newfoundland

For privately held client,  Beachhead evaluated exploratory potential of over 450,000 acre position located both onshore and offshore surrounding the Port au Port peninsula of western Newfoundland.  

Scope of work included:

• Mapping and evaluation of 5,000 kilometers of 2D seismic data 

• The incorporation of five wells drilled by previous operators.  

• Integrated Geology focused the Client’s efforts to acquire the first 3D seismic program in the area over identified structural traps that previously tested oil when drilled in 1994.  

Based on Beachhead-Advisors recommendations, client completed a farm-in to the project and was named as Operator.
